What are your design rates?
To inquire about my rates, please feel free to shoot me an email at hellotati{at}yahoo{dot}com, or send me a message over on the Contact page. For most projects I require a 50% deposit at the beginning.
Can I view your previous work?
Of course! Feel free to view my portfolio here, or to read a little more about my professional history and recommendations, click here.
What kind of qualifications and experience do you have?
I have a B.A. in Cognitive Science and have additional schooling in Digital Arts, but I am mostly self-taught. Combining my knowledge of psychology and art theory, the websites and pieces I produce are not only effective, but well thought out, clean, and compelling. I work quickly but thoroughly, and have been told that I have an exceptional eye for color. I’m also a Pisces (for those of you who care) – I’m creative and intuitive, but I also don’t take myself too seriously.
What clients have you worked with?
I really love working with non-profits and small businesses, but I have also had the opportunity to work for larger companies. Some of my clients have included: International Beer Day, Jewish Community Center of the East Bay, The Art of Yoga Project, Panera Bread, FACTS (Families to Amend California’s Three Strikes), International Student Volunteers, Non Song Magazine, and more.
What is your availability?
My availability varies from month to month depending on quantity and scale of projects I’m currently working on. I am currently accepting new projects. (This section will be constantly updated so my availability will always be up-to-date.)
Where are you located? I am in a different city / state / country. Will this be a problem?
I am located in San Francisco, California, but my clients have almost all been out of town, even sometimes out of the country. Location has never been an issue, as most communication is done over email, Skype or the phone.
How long will my job take to complete?
The length of time can vary based on how large the project is, number of revisions, how responsive the client is, and other factors. On average a project like a business card design takes about a week (not including delivery of printed cards).
Once my work is completed and paid for, do I receive full usage rights?
Yes. The client always receives full usage rights and may use the designs in any way they feel is appropriate. Upon completion, or sometimes throughout the project, I’ll provide you with any usernames or passwords that you’ll need to access your website (CMS, FTP, etc, if applicable).
If I am anticipating frequent changes/updates to my website, or collateral, can we set up a monthly service fee?
I am open to that!
Once we’ve agreed to work together, how do I submit payment?
Paypal is the most convenient payment method (and can be submitted to hellotati{at}yahoo{dot} com) but checks are also accepted. My mailing address will be listed on your invoice.
