International Beer Day: Where will you be celebrating?

by tatiana on August 2, 2010

Happy Monday, kids. I thought I’d share a web banner that I made tonight for the good folks who are organizing International Beer Day.

International Beer Day got its start a few years ago and occurs every year on August 5th. As they explain on their site, “International Beer Day is a celebration of all things beer — an opportunity for the whole world to revel in the culture of beer, bars, and breweries. International Beer Day was founded so that once a year, all of humanity can be united in celebration of this delicious beverage.” That sounds pretty good to me!

They asked me to design a banner in a few different sizes so sponsors and supporters would have some options, but I took it a step further and created my own tagline to go with the design concept in my head. Alas, they loved the tagline and the design concept, and voila. There you go! I can’t wait for International Beer Day. Do check out their website for more info on the history of the holiday and to find the celebration nearest you. Now, time reward myself with some fresh baked cookies and watch some Jersey Shore.
