I’m sitting here at Ontario International Airport waiting to board my flight back to the Bay Area and wanted to take a moment to wish everyone who reads this little blog of mine a very Merry Christmas. Most of my family’s traditions take place on Christmas Eve, so I decided that paying a lot less to fly on Christmas night was not a shabby deal. I’m heading to Oakland to enjoy Christmas dinner and feel like a very lucky gal.
Spending almost a week at home has been very rejuvenating and I feel energized and inspired to work hard to make the most out of the remainder of 2012, and 2013. I still have 2 handmade gifts to finish, but I was happy to have finished the above cross stitch piece just an hour or so before my annual Christmas party with my high school pals. Sometimes, it’s important to remind yourself to get a little ratchety. Happy holidays, guys!
